Stop smoking to prevent the cause of gum infection

Many people have their own bad habits that can affect their health. The most common bad habits are smoking. It can greatly affect oral health as well as the over all health of the body system such respiratory and heart disease. One dangerous ingredient we can get from tobacco smoking is nicotine. This can affect blood vessels constriction leading to decreased distribution of oxygen and food particles can lead to gum infection. Smoking can damage the immune system of a patient and reduces the ability of the body to fight infection.
