Owning a gps is a wonderful thing, but our garmin gps accessories are what make the difference in our travel. The heart of any gps system is, of course, the map accessory. And that is one thing that I believe you should not scimp on. It may seem a little expensive at first, but it is well worth the investment if you are a serious traveler, whether for business or pleasure. We were traveling recently in a rather remote area out west and got a little turned around (because we weren’t using the system). I was beginning to get a little nervous, but boy, were we glad we had made that little extra investment in the software. I really don’t think a system with less mapping ability would have gotten us back to our destination in such a timely manner.
